Filter Cleaning
Systems that utilize DE or cartridge filters need to be dismantled, cleaned and inspected on a periodic basis. There are variables such as filter size and environmental differences that cause some to need more frequent attention than others. However, while pressure gauges are certainly a great tool for monitoring resistance, they do not necessarily reveal internal damage that can undermine a filter’s performance. If you haven’t had your filter cleaned and inspected lately, remember that it’s an important part of pool care. We clean filters any time of the year. Let us know if we can help.
